If you’ve been following along with J. Dayton’s, you know our story began with a mom (that’s me, Miranda!), a little boy named JD, and a dream to make stylish, affordable boutique clothing for boys easier to find.

While we’re not open just yet, exciting things are happening behind the scenes — and I wanted to give you a peek at what we’ve been working on as we get ready to launch Knoxville’s newest online boy’s boutique!

💙 Building a Boutique Inspired by Boyhood

From day one, J. Dayton’s has been all about celebrating the charm, adventure, and sweetness of little boys. I’ve spent countless hours researching high-quality children’s boutique brands, curating pieces that are comfortable enough for playtime but cute enough for photos.

Right now, I’m finalizing our first collections — think soft fabrics, classic colors, and timeless pieces that make your little guy look put-together without losing his playful spirit.

🛍️ Behind the Screens: Setting Up Our Online Shop

As a mom dreaming of more time at home with my son, I’m learning so much about running an online store! We’re currently setting up our Shopify site, finalizing product photos, and testing every detail to make sure your shopping experience will be simple, seamless, and beautiful.

We want you to be able to find baby boy clothing, toddler outfits, and boutique styles for boys that are affordable, easy to shop, and shipped quickly within the U.S.

🍁 Fall Fun + Seasonal Inspiration

Fall is one of my favorite times of year to dress JD in cozy layers and classic boy’s boutique styles. This week we’re headed to the pumpkin patch, and I can’t wait to share photos of JD enjoying autumn adventures in outfits that are both playful and picture-perfect. You’ll start seeing these seasonal looks reflected in our upcoming collections too!
